The main reason I’ve been thinking about ALL THE MEMES is how ridiculous they might look in the future. If COVID-19 continues to do unprecedented damage to the world in a variety of ways, are we going to look like idiots for documenting the whole process with memes? Will memes be in the history books? Will future generations think that we’d completely lost our minds? Or will they admire our comedic resilience in the face of a global pandemic?

The city of Fury is a mother that eats its young. It’s a working class melting-pot found at the end of the line on the Quad-City Express. It’s a place with where the predators are equal to the number of those preyed upon.

This article takes a stab at the emotional complexity many young people experience in an increasingly globalized world; feeling a murky sense of identity, nostalgia & wistfulness, all bundled together with a confused idea of where we belong.
